Summer Miebach
Client Accounting Services
Summer joined the Reese Henry team in September 2025, bringing with her five years of diverse professional experience. She spent four years in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte, where she served as lead senior on a crown jewel Financial Services/Insurance client, conducting audits under IFRS/GAAP/PCAOB/Statutory regulations. Following her audit career, she gained valuable private accounting experience working directly with the Controller and CFO at a retail company on both accounting and FP&A functions. Summer holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, is IFRS Accredited, and has completed two of four CPA exams.
Her athletic background as a college softball player at Florida Atlantic University instilled a lifelong passion for sports and the outdoors. She and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, running, and attending church, often bringing their one-year-old daughter along for their adventures.
Why did you choose Colorado?
“My husband and I were born and raised in Florida and knew we wanted a change, and Colorado was always my husband's dream location. We love everything about the mountains, whether it's summer or winter, the beautiful changes of seasons, the incredible wildlife, and most importantly, the wonderful people we've met here in Highlands Ranch!”
What does living the “Aspen Idea” mean to you?
“I love working, but focusing on my mind, body, and spirit through physical activity (running, working out, hiking, camping, being in nature, etc.) allows myself to show up my best each and every day, as well as my faith!”
Why did you choose to join the team at Reese Henry?
“I chose to join Reese Henry because they truly embrace work/life balance, which is incredibly rare in accounting. This demanding career path often comes with firms that don't prioritize employee wellness, but Reese Henry genuinely cares about their team's well-being. Finding a company that values both professional excellence and personal health made my decision easy.”
