Why did you choose Crested Butte, CO?

“I always came to Crested Butte when I was young, and I always wanted to live up here. After college, I received an opportunity to work here, and I took it. The community, outdoors, and focus on health is what keeps me in Crested Butte. I love that everyone is physically active and loves the outdoors. Additionally, the community is small but very supportive and tight knit.”

What does living the “Aspen Idea” mean to you?

“The Aspen Idea inspires the way I live, through being cognizant about the health of my Mind, Body, and Spirit. Through actively making decisions that support the health of these three aspects of my life, I can flourish. Additionally, by keeping the Aspen Idea always in my mind, it allows me to be aware that life is finite and so you must make the most of it. This pushes me to try new things, take risks, and live life to the fullest.”

Why did you choose to join the team at Reese Henry?

“Reese Henry stands out from other full-service CPA firms with its emphasis on balance—prioritizing a high professional standard without sacrificing personal life, a rarity in this industry. I was drawn to the firm's culture and the people, who clearly understand the importance of a well-rounded life. Although I'm not in the Roaring Fork Valley, I resonate with the firm's encouragement to embrace the local lifestyle, which aligns with my own values in Crested Butte. The enthusiasm and warmth I received during my interviews assured me that Reese Henry was where I could thrive, both professionally and personally.”
