Why did you choose the Roaring Fork Valley?

“Personally, I was drawn by my love of the outdoors and the many activities available, right outside our back door. Professionally, Aspen allows me to work in a field that I love, with continuous challenge and growth. Our clients are both sophisticated and engaging, so there is no lack of interesting work!”

What does living the “Aspen Idea” mean to you?

“We all share a common idea, that there are things more important than work. For example, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, rafting, snowboarding, cross country skiing, yoga, and live music. I’m also active in community service, serving as Treasurer for Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter and Coordinator of the Reese Henry Senior Volunteer Tax Assistance Program.”

Why did you choose to join the team at Reese Henry?

“I was living in Oregon but really missed Colorado living. When the opportunity came up, I was completely blown away by Aspen and all that the firm was doing. At Reese Henry, we believe and live by the work-life balance model. Our sabbatical program further instills this model, providing employees an extra month of paid vacation for every five years of employment. We also honor the ‘powder day’ rule!”
