Mark Kavasch, CPA,

Mark has more than 30 years of experience working to create success strategies for clients in diverse industries, including real estate, retail, restaurant, hospitality, construction, non-profit organizations, and owners’ associations, in addition to his large clientele of high-net-worth individuals. He joined Reese Henry & Company in 1982 and became a partner in 1989.

Mark’s extensive background in financial audit and income tax matters makes him an invaluable resource to his clients in areas such as tax compliance, IRS and state tax controversies, income tax planning, estate planning, business consulting, auditing, and budgeting. Mark has also developed an expertise in working with not-for-profit organizations, their governance as well as their operational challenges.

Mark graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mark has long been involved in activities that help kids and mentoring programs throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. He serves on the Board of Directors for both the Ross Motessori School, as well as The Buddy Program.

Outside of the office, Mark loves spending time with his wife, Susan Lau, two children and two grandchildren, and pets too numerous to name.
